Banks : There are no banks
in this area therefore it would be best if you come prepared with
Indian Rupees for any purchase you want to do in Yuksam.
 Medical
Facilities : There is a Primary Health Centre, Main Bazaar Hospitals.
Serious patients are either referred to Gangtok or Gyelzing. If
you are on medication then it is advisable that you bring you medicines.
Post Office : One small Post Office is opened here in this
town to take care of the postal service of this village.
Places to eat: Food is cheap and good in Yuksam. A surprising
variety of Indian, Chinese, Western and local food are offered at
the five restaurants. One must try the local delicacies like momos,
pakoras, and masala tea (please add on)
One thing to note is the opening hours of the
restaurants. They normally close at 7.30 to 8pm. You might also
want to place an early order for your food if you are with a big
group. Many restaurants also provide lodging facilities for the
visitors.
